Small Chest of Drawers Transformation

Antique Chest Before And After
This is a great piece I found at Patina Interiors in Mandeville, LA.
It is an antique piece with great "bones".
It's a small chest of drawers so it works well in so many
places. This piece was in rickety shape.  The drawers weren't working well.
So I added drawer slides to make the drawers slide better.
I wood filled and sanded....and wood filled and sanded!
I painted first with a coat of Old White.
I then painted Duck Blue on top.
I distressed this piece to show the Old White coming through the Duck Blue.
And voilleeeee....I'm using it as a console table!

Steph's Custom Coffee Table

This is my friend, Steph's, old antique family table that has been handed down through
the family.  It's taken a beating! I wood filled and sanded this piece and primed it with Stixx (great stuff).
Steph LOVES bright colors! She had me paint this piece in a
bright lime green color and antique it! This piece looks amazing in her house!

Custom Chest Of Drawers

My client brought me this solid wood antique chest of drawers that has
been in his family for many years.  His wife just had a baby and he wanted to do something
special for her.  So, he called me to redo this piece for the baby's room!
He decided on Moon White as his color for the chest.
I painted and distressed the entire piece in Moon White.
Then sealed it with "Stays Clear", some amazing sealer found at
Benjamin Moore paints ($60 per gallon).
My client LOVED the final results!!!

Shabby Chicing Taylor's Room....

Our Inspiration Piece!!!
Taylor and I fell in love with this pillow and decided to decorate around it!
We started painting the 2nd night she was home from college for Christmas break!

We painted the one wall that she had originally painted black when she was in her "modern" phase.
Me (Lori) painting in my Saints painting pants and polka dotted rain boots!

Taylor painting and very excited about using her Interior Design skills that she
is going to college for!!!

This is a fabulous antique piece that I found on Craigslist for $50!
I mean, where do you find details like this anymore!
I repainted it in a lime green color and painted the detail with
Old White. I make my own paint (my secret recipe). So, I can have whatever color I want!
Wow, I love this piece!
Another great find!!! I found this end table at Goodwill for $9.99
It's SOLID wood and super heavy!
I saw the potential in the  piece for Taylor's Shabby Chic
Room! I painted it a dark teal and Natural Linen.
Then I distressed it to end up with a fabulous end table!!!
