My DIY Sliding Doors made from Hurricane Shutters

I've been dying to do another Pinterest Project! I needed doors to give a feel of privacy to my keeping room. I found these fabulous solid cypress hurricane shutters on Craigslist for $50 for all 4!!! They are the perfect height (8 ft) for my door opening and all 4 of them created the perfect width too! They were dark green, but I painted them with Paris Gray. I love the way they turned out!!!

Before And After Armoire

This is a French antique armoire that I found and purchased for myself.  I love the curves on it!!!  I've painted it a few times and I will post it's final reveal soon! I've painted it in an antique white and added furniture appliques.  I still have to glaze it...Then I will post pics!!!

My Distressed Kitchen

I found this amazing antique church pew in the heart of Baton Rouge. I actually found 2 of them, but I sold one to a friend of mine.  I painted this church pew in various colors and distressed it.  I had the table top made out of antique pine boards from a man in Madisonville, LA.  The boards have SO much character!!! They have nails and nail holes...I love it! I have switched the chairs in my kitchen out a million times...Whenever I find a chair I like I purchase it and paint it!!!  I have WAY too many chairs in my house right now!!!

Coffee Table Before And After

BEFORE AND AFTER CUSTOM COFFEE TABLE
TRANSFORMATION

My client bought this piece for a great price and brought it to me to do my magic.  He gave me a pillow from his living room with his color palette and gave me full artistic freedom!!!
This coffee table originally had a glass insert as the top.  I replaced the glass top with an antique tin ceiling tile.  I filled the tile with some hardening agent so that it would not dent at all when it is used.  I framed the tile out with some cool molding, painted the table in various colors that were in my client's pillow, distressed it....And here she is!!!
